HOW TO: get readers subscribing to your YouTube channel

Strange isn’t it? Most of us bloggers have a TweetmeFollowme button, our Facebook Fanpage social plugin and even our Google+ add me to your circles box on our blogs.

But recently I wondered how about my/our YouTube channels? A lot of companies make beautiful impressions of their company to attract new talent and to boost their corporate brand. For me it is more training videos and for you it could be something else altogether. But I can’t find them (almost) anywhere? So I thought I’d let you guys know for one that it exists and secondly how to get the widget and ultimately get more visitors to subscribe with just one click

Here is the code to add to your blog, as a text/html widget. Don’t forget to add your YouTube username in the correct place.

  <iframe id=”fr” src=”http://www.youtube.com/subscribe_widget?p=add YouTube Username here” style=”overflow: hidden; height: 105px; width: 300px; border: 0;” scrolling=”no” frameBorder=”0″></iframe>

with this single line of code you get a great looking box that really makes subscribing to your YouTube channel a breeze for your readers!

And if all this is new to you, let us suggest you check out this video, in which dear Cuddles tells you all you need to know about subscriptions:

Have fun with this widget and I almost forgot… subscribe to our channel ツ

Have  a great weekend,

Hi Jakolien, I saw a nice increase in my YouTube subscriber counts the same day I added that widget. Plus it looks really good and brings attention to the fact that you actually have a channel. Great tip to show everyone how to do it. Cheers!
